Polycrystalline panels are made of silicon that has been melted and cast into a mold to create solar cells.

These cells are then cut into squares and assembled into panels. Polycrystalline panels are less efficient than monocrystalline panels, but they are also less expensive to manufacture.

Whats the efficiency of polycrystalline?

Polycrystalline panels have an efficiency of around 15-20%. This means that they are able to convert 15-20% of the sunlight that hits them into electricity.
